From the Gun Control Lobby groups to our mainstream media, they’re all trying to shame and convince us that the AR-15 is nothing more than an evil killing machine. However, I see the AR-15 as my personal self-defense rifle that I happen to think is aesthetically beautiful. 

If I ever have kids, they’re going to grow up telling people their dad has an AR-15 over the fireplace. However, right now as a childless single male, I have ARs all over my house. Some of my ARs are placed strategically for self-defense, and others are set for their beauty. To some people, the AR-15 merely is metal and plastic and doesn’t have the same organic charm that a lot of older guns made from wood and metal have. The thing is, I’m part of the iPhone generation where we see beauty in plastic firearms the same way our parents and grandparents saw beauty in firearms made from metal and wood.
